MEDALS GALORE AT LEINSTER INDOORS
The Athletics Leinster Senior, Junior and Master Indoor Championships were held in Nenagh last Sunday. In an action packed programme medals were won by Mary Walsh, Paddy Dolan, Catch Grennan, Jim Dolan, Joe Wrafter, Gerry Kavanagh, Adrain Brennan, Mick Fleming and Ray Delaney. Full results will follow next week.
At the annual Ballycotton 10 held last Sunday Pauline Curley was 2nd lady in 58.51 to winner Rosemary Ryan in 56.48 with Brendan Kennedy 85.17 and brother Damien 85.28.                 

CLUB AGM
The Annual General Meeting was held in the clubhouse on Monday 3rd March. In his address the Chairman John Cronin congratulated all those who represented the club during the past year and reflected on the many achievements in Track and Field, Cross Country and Road events. This success was achieved by the dedication of club coaches and those who look after the club facilities, he expressed a big thank you to all on behalf of the athletes. He also thanked the local press and photographers for coverage of the club activities. Thanks was also expressed to David Hutton-Bury and Jimmy Matthews for the use of Charleville Estate and Arden Hill for training. The Chairman wished everyone well for the coming year and looked forward to a continued increase in juvenile and senior membership with all athletes building on the past years achievements. The meeting saw club treasurer Brendan O’Shea present his final financial report, after many years of dedicated service Brendan has decided to step down from his position. The Chairman expressed his thanks to Brendan for his outstanding contribution to the club over the years and especially his role as club treasurer.

Training : Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm, Sunday morning at 8.30am (except on a race day) all are welcome.

Circuit training led by Adrian Brennan every Wednesday at 7pm.
