Pauline Curley made the long trip to Larne on Saturday 22nd for the Premier Power Larne Half Marathon. The race had 474 finishers and although it was a bright dry day a bitterly strong North Easterly wind meant that conditions for running were far from ideal. On the day Pauline put in a fine run to take the ladies title and finish in13th place overall in 1.17.01, Helena Crossan of Innishowen AC was second in 1.23.46 with third place going to Cara Girvan of North Belfast Harriers in a time of 1.25.15.

On the Easter Bank Holiday Monday Jim Langan was in Cork for the annual Boherbue to Kiskeam Jack O’Keeffe 4 mile road race. On a windy course Jim was 1st over 65 in 30.49 ahead of George Webb Rising Sun AC in 32.01.
